About Me

Based in Northampton, UK, I live with my husband Adam, our Cocker Spaniel Bruno and Deeley the Bengal cat. I work full time as a Creative Artist / 3D Designer and part-time with my creative endeavours. I hope you'll enjoy reading about my work and other random ramblings, from the satisfying successes to the catastrophic failures! Still, it's all good fun, which is kind of the whole point really...

Crazy days!

Hi all!  You've probably given me up for dead by now, I've been pretty quiet for a while, even by my standards!  I had intentions of announcing the release of the final batch of Very Little Ones in April, but I decided to update my website and blog first, then I thought "I'll just get this medallion finished and use it to annouce the new website"... and there you go, three months have flown by!

The most important thing going on this month for me is the Bring Out Your China Convention, I will be flying out on Sunday and spending 10 days in sunny San Diego, California including this 4-day bonanza including a Live Show, Workshops and a hedonistic smorgasboard of clinky delights!

My trip will also include some work-related experiences at the University of California, San Diego and a some time spent with clinky-guru Joanie Berkwitz.  I will report back on my adventures upon my return (well, within a few weeks of then hopefully), that will be a BIG blog post!

In other news, I am about to release a new medallion, he is called Inferno and all updates and details can be found on this web page: http://www.kelly-savage.com/inferno.html, it is incomplete until I have a few copies to photograph properly, but there is a hint at the style of the medallion in the banner of that webpage and here is a photo of the mold:

I have made a start on a new mini, too, she is a Thoroughbred mare and a loose suggestion at a mother for Very Little One.  Her web page is here: http://www.kelly-savage.com/very-little-lady.html

Finally for now, just a note to say that I will be producing the MECs medallions again this year, but this time there is a chance there will be some copies made available for sale (internationally too).  I've not finalised my ideas yet but here are the two I made last year: http://www.kelly-savage.com/british-model-equine-championship-awards.html, I may reuse one of them if I can't get enough time to create two new ones, probably the Welsh Cob, so if you like these then there is a chance you may be able to purchase a copy this year.

My new website isn't officially "live" just yet, I need to have the photos of Inferno before I go with that and want to avoid sales during my trip to the US, so I will likely finally make that announcement about Very Little One, Inferno and all other matters shortly after I return.

So that sums up the current state of affairs, I will have plent more to say in a few weeks, when sales will go live, the website will be completed and hopefully I will have more exciting news about all things horsey!
