10 Years ago yesterday (ok, I might have forgotten about this totally yesterday, distracted by far less silly things), I got in my car and set off from my parent’s house in Birmingham for my new short-term job contract in that faraway place called Northampton.
It was a 6 week temporary contract which turned into a permanent job of 5 years. By that time I had settled into the place and met Adam, so I stayed.
I told the guys I work with that after 10 years I planned to officially call myself Northamptonian, but they told me until I can say the word “year” properly, I’m not allowed!
So, Happy 10 Yuer Anniversary to me!
