And the winner is….

Olivia Morris!  With her name suggestion of Dancing Daisy!

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Congratulations Olivia!  Drop me a message or email so I know where to send your prize.  The model will be posted out to you around the 30th August, or if you are going to the Hullabaloo, will be there for you to pick up Smile

I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who entered this competition, the response was truly overwhelming, I received over 1100 suggestions, all posted according to the strict rules I set – thank you so much, this format made working through all the names SO much easier!  That said, finding the winning name was very hard, I struggled to come to a decision as there were so many that could have been the winner, so I drafted in my closets, trusted hobby friends (Thanks Ann, Yvette and Beccy – you all rock!!) who very patiently went through all the possibles with me, explaining why some names might not be suitable and highlighting some serious contenders that I had missed!

More information and photos of Dancing Daisy will be published soon, she will be released on 30th August 2013 both online and at the Utterly Horses Hullabaloo.

Note – don’t comment on this post as only entries made on the posts above will count!

The winner will be announced Wednesday if I can get through all the entries in that time, it looks like it may be a day or two later – I hadn’t quite anticipated such a high number of entries!  I’ll post the winning name and entrant here and on my Facebook Page as soon as a winner has been decided upon.

UHH Filly Naming Competition opens tomorrow!

Hi guys!

I know I’ve not been very good with blogging recently, just not enough hours in the day sadly!  I’ve been very busy managing the china Union Jack orders, and sculpting and casting models for the Utterly Horses Hullabaloo this Summer(30th and 31st August and 1st Sep).

Here’s the biggest news:

SAM_0570

This is the new filly model, she’s the official UHH 2013 resin and will be sold there and online as soon as the show opens.  She’s classic scale, all the info and lots more photos can be found on her web page, as her name isn’t set yet the page link will be changing, so click here and then click on her picture to see it all.

As of tomorrow, there is a competition to find her a name.  This was also held last year to find a name for Union Jack – to say it was popular is quite an understatement, there were hundreds (and hundreds!) of entries, fingers crossed this little lady will provide a similar level of inspiration.

Full details, term and conditions for the competition can be found here, hang on to those suggestions, there will be another post tomorrow where you can post your naming ideas!
