Exciting news folks! I have been given exclusive permission by Copperfox to reveal the mould name for the Welsh Cob model :)
I was honoured to have the chance to give this model a name (I so rarely name my own models!). The name was established very early on during the sculpture's creation and I'm thrilled to be able to finally reveal it. So, it gives me great pleasure to announce that:
the Copperfox Welsh Cob mould name is:
Celtic Warrior
The name is a reflection on both my own and the breed's heritage (I have English, Welsh and Scottish blood and now have family living in Ireland, so the "Celtic" part does not purely refer to the Welsh Cob), along with both a nod to the use of the Welsh Section D (which is what the Welsh Cob is) in history as a cavalry horse and to the real name of the horse that inspired the pose of the model (unconnected to Copperfox so I can't really name him here).
One of the first Copperfox Welsh Cob models will be the official Celtic Warrior model (bay or black - what do you reckon?) and will carry this name, and though other colours will likely have different names, though they will all be based on the "Celtic Warrior Mould".
I hope you like Celtic Warrior and his name, I can't wait to see more colour-ways on this mould and to know the names those models are given!

What a lovely name!
Suits him down to the ground! :D
I reckon the bay should be the 'official' Celtic Warrior - that's the one I'm hoping to get!
Thanks LeeAnn! :)
Oops, we posted at the same moment Christine! Thank you too :)
I can't say just yet but I'll keep my fingers crossed for the result you'd like!
